Linux: hdparm no funciona correctamente en PI4, no puede controlar el tiempo de spindown del disco duro

El hdparm -I /dev/sda no funciona, un comando similar del disco duro como hdparm -y /dev/sda también falla.

El Pi 4 usa UAS como transporte de disco, no almacenamiento masivo USB que se usa en todos los modelos anteriores de Pi.

Tengo un adaptador Sabrent USB3.0 que presenta el problema: en un Pi 4 hdparm -y /dev/sda devuelve el mismo error que está viendo, pero no en un Pi 3. hdparm -I /dev/sda funciona en ambos casos , aunque.

En ambos casos, por hdparm -y , veo que hdparm emite un comando de transferencia ATA con varios parámetros establecidos, luego solicita una transferencia IN para verificar el resultado. En el caso de UAS, la respuesta de detección de SCSI es "comando ilegal", mientras que en el caso de almacenamiento masivo la respuesta de paso a través de ATA de almacenamiento masivo tiene un campo de error distinto de cero y el punto final se detiene.

El comando está fallando en ambos Pis, presumiblemente porque el dispositivo no admite el comando, pero el caso de UAS es más ruidoso al respecto. En su caso, es probable que la transferencia no funcione con UAS sino con almacenamiento masivo.
