Certbot: Certbot usa versão antiga do Python

Olá a todos, o Certbot no Ubuntu 14.04 usa uma versão antiga do Pip (8.0.3), mesmo que a versão mais recente do Pip (9.0.1) esteja disponível. Não consigo executar o comando de renovação $certbot-auto com sucesso, pois ele dá o aviso InsecurePlatformWarning . Posso consertar isso? Abaixo colei toda a saída:
