@hongyuanjia Thank you for kind words. Luckily because of you using data.table so heavily and having tests in place we were able to detect regression in development version of data.table (when doing reverse dependency check) before release to CRAN. So thank you for that!

I am the developer of eplusr package. Just saw this issue when I tried to search other issue topics in data.table repo.

My package is heavily based on data.table package. Maybe this is not the right place, but still want to express my deeply appreciation and thankfulness for data.table packages and also continuous efforts you guys made to make data.table getting even better!
