Update notification daemon Dunst from 0.2.0-1 to 1.2.0.

In Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal i have old version of Dunst - 0.2.0-1.
Download new 1.2.0 from https://github.com/dunst-project/dunst/archive/v1.2.0.tar.gz
Extract to ~/src/dunst-1.2.0
Type make
see Package "dbus-1" was not found in the pkg-config search path
type sudo apt-get install libdbus-1-dev

Good, but next is Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path

I downloaded https://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/glib/2.36/glib-2.36.4.tar.xz
unpack and
grep -Ril "XRRMonitorInfo" ./
grep -Ril "XRRGetMonitors" ./
Nothing. Hmmm, these functions are not in glib 2.36!

I find https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libXrandr/tree/src/XrrMonitor.c - there are XRRMonitorInfo, XRRGetMonitors and XRRFreeMonitors code.
I type sudo find / -iname XrrMonitor.c and nothing.

I need to update libxrandr!
What version of libxrandr have I?

I have 1.4.0 version of libxrandr.

I downloaded all *.c and *.h files from https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libXrandr/tree/src and put them into /home/vova/src/dunst-1.2.0/src
make - and error that "src/x11/XrrMonitor.c:157:5: error: unknown type name ‘xRRSetMonitorReq’"
I am doing something wrong, it will be easily way to update libxrandr.
