Ok, resolví el problema de instalación eliminando por completo el contenido de la carpeta %userprofile%\Local Settings\Apps y ahora tengo la pantalla de bienvenida de nuevo, pero solo la de bienvenida, por ahora ha pasado un minuto y aún no se ha ido.

Nada, lo instalé y luego reinstalé EDEngineer, todavía atascado en la pantalla de inicio.

hasta ayer el programa no se confundía, y ayer, de milagro, el programa arrancó y funcionó a la perfección. pero después de la actualización de hoy nuevamente nada funciona, el proceso ClickOnce se cuelga en segundo plano y no sucede nada.

Muy bien, sospecho que el nuevo archivo zip incrustado para comprimir los datos está causando estos problemas ... Entiendo que Windows o cualquier AV podrían considerarlo sospechoso (toma un archivo zip, descomprímalo, lea el json extraído y luego elimine el zip y los archivos una vez que el contenido está en la memoria), pero eso ahorró unos pocos megabytes.

Lo estoy eliminando por ahora, el parche está implementado.
