Facebook-sdk-for-unity: Is this SDK still being maintained?

This repo has way over 200 open issues, and a lot of them are either unanswered or contain answers from people having the same problem. So I am wondering if it is safe to use this SDK? It's also pretty confusing that the Unity app store version is still at 7.12.1, since May 2018, while the website version is 8.1.0.2, which is much more recent (Oct 2020).

Update: I just saw that the repo contains a link to another bug tracker. Maybe you should this issue list then, if you want to be used the other bug tracker instead?
