i3lock doesn't center image

(When I run i3lock with an image, the image is placed at the top left instead of being centered. I am running only a single monitor and using the NVIDIA proprietary driver. I would like (at least) an option to have the image centered.

Center the image in an external program, it’s trivial.

The opinion on such features in i3lock is pretty clear. We display images, nothing more. Anything fancy needs to be done outside of i3lock.

Bummer, this is really needed for multi monitor and multi resolution support.

Agreed, even though this could be solved trivially with imagemagick or other simple tools, it would be very helpful to be able to center the image with a flag (or by default).
