Lua-resty-auto-ssl: Nginx não inicia após a substituição do conteúdo de nginx.conf

Tentei instalar lua-resty-auto-ssl em uma nova instalação do Debian 9

Eu fiz o seguinte

apt update
apt install nginx
apt install build-essential
apt install luarocks
luarocks install lua-resty-auto-ssl
mkdir /etc/resty-auto-ssl
chown www-data /etc/resty-auto-ssl

Em seguida, substituí /etc/nginx/nginx.conf pelo exemplo mínimo postado aqui no leia-me https://github.com/GUI/lua-resty-auto-ssl

Mas depois de substituir o conteúdo do ngix.conf pelo exemplo mínimo, o nginx não pode mais ser iniciado

Parece que o nginx não está carregando lua corretamente.
Aqui está meu dockerfile, baseado no Ubuntu 16:04. Talvez te ajude:

Obrigado, irei executar manualmente os comandos no arquivo para instalá-lo. Não há problema em instalar o nginx usando o apt antes de tudo, certo?

Comecei a acompanhar seu arquivo, mas não entendo o que essas linhas fazem

ADD mime.types /etc/nginx/
ADD fastcgi_params /etc/nginx/

ADD ./start.sh /root/

Eu fiz todo o resto até aquele ponto e sem erros

Você provavelmente é melhor em usar o openresty

Infelizmente, ainda sem sucesso. Fiz o seguinte em uma nova instalação do Debian 9, desta vez não instalei o Ngix, mas instalei o Openresty

apt update
apt upgrade
wget -qO - https://openresty.org/package/pubkey.gpg | apt-key add -
apt-get -y install software-properties-common
add-apt-repository -y "deb http://openresty.org/package/debian $(lsb_release -sc) openresty"
apt-get update
apt-get install openresty
apt install luarocks

mkdir /etc/resty-auto-ssl
chown www-data /etc/resty-auto-ssl

Em seguida, alterei o conteúdo de /etc/openresty/nginx.conf

mas eu recebo o seguinte depois de tentar iniciá-lo

O único problema que estou enfrentando agora é que, se eu for para https://mydomain.com, o certificado é de "sni-support-required-for-valid-ssl" e parece que não está gerando certificado letsencrypt para meu domínio.

É um problema de permissão. Se eu mudar o usuário do nginx para root, tudo funcionará bem. Vou encontrar uma maneira de consertá-lo e, em seguida, escreverei um guia de instalação.
