Vimium: Open link in a new foreground tab?

Is there a way to add costume action for opening links in new foreground tabs?

Also, is there a way to disable or modify keyboard shortcuts for existing actions?

By default, holding Ctrl while typing the last letter of a hint also opens it in a new foreground tab. (as indicated in the HUD at bottom right)

And there's a command named LinkHints.activateModeToOpenInNewForegroundTab.
