Flatpak is a software utility for software deployment, package management, and application virtualization for Linux desktop computers.
It provides a sandbox environment in which users can run applications in isolation from the rest of the system.
Libreoffice already exists as Flatpaks on http://flathub.org. This would be a good repository to use.
Just as a preview, Flathub will have many improvements soon and other major projects are adding to it (JASP will soon be on Flathub).
See here https://beta.flathub.org/apps or here http://45.55.104.129/apps
Having this will allow us to put onlyoffice on flathub.org (the app store), something worth having I think. Way better than distributing a tarball.
@ShockwaveNN Would be really good to have it as Flatpak. Any progress on this issue? The benefits of using Flatpak are substantial: Sandboxed, atomic updates, cross-distro and distro agnostic.
@Eonfge Sorry, currently there is no progress about flatpak
