Django-debug-toolbar: SuspiciousFileOperation at / The joined path (/jquery-1.11.1.min.js) is located outside of the base path component (path_to_project/env/lib/python3.5/site-packages/django/contrib/admin/static)

Where does the initial slash in /jquery-... come from? It does not look correct and is very probably the reason for this problem.

Same error as @RoelantStegmann but with the django error included (in case it triggers somebody...):

I'm also using versatileimagefield and placeholders in a few projects, and haven't seen this error once.

Can someone post their versatileimagefield configuration and field instantiation?
