There is no _zesty_ release on ppa launchpad
I did this workaround:
echo >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/aacebedo-ubuntu-fasd-zesty.list "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/aacebedo/fasd/ubuntu yakkety main"
Not sure if it's a good idea though.
Is this why I got the warning?
W: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/aacebedo/fasd/ubuntu zesty Release' does not have a Release file.
I'm getting that same error message.
Same with Ubuntu 18.04 (bionic beaver):
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:aacebedo/fasd && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt install fasd
...
E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/aacebedo/fasd/ubuntu bionic Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
I launched the build for the missing releases. Should be ok now
As of yesterday, on Jessie, adding the PPA defaulted to ubuntu groovy
, which threw a 404. I edited the entry to reflect eoan
, and it worked a treat.
(Thanks for maintaining this glorious utility!)
