você já pode instalá-lo (eu acho) usando conda install -c conda-forge scikit-learn . Caso contrário, o novo lançamento será lançado em cerca de 2 semanas.

A resposta não mudou. Conforme declarado acima, você já pode usar o scikit-learn com conda-forge e, caso contrário, precisará aguardar o lançamento do 0.24.

Eu praticamente mudei para docker para todo o meu desenvolvimento de ML com versões codificadas, etc, e não tenho mais problemas. Python tende a travar e queimar com mallocs, oom, problemas de instalação, etc. com qualquer atualização no sistema operacional, no próprio python ou nas bibliotecas. Infelizmente, esse é o estado das coisas ...

Eu descobri uma solução alternativa para instalar em python3.9 pelo menos no Linux

Atualizar pip. Instale wheel, Cython, obspy, numpy e geomag-algorthms da fonte git

pip install -U pip wheel numpy Cython Obspy
pip install git+https://github.com/usgs/geomag-algorithms.git

Instale GDAL

Obtenha a versão GDAL

sudo apt-get install libgdal-dev
VERSION=$(gdal-config --version)

Instale o GDAL no pip com base na versão instalada no sistema operacional

pip install GDAL==$VERSION

Agora você pode instalar o scikit-learn

pip install scikit-learn

Além disso:

poesia adicionar scikit-learn --allow-prereleases

que atualiza seu [tool.poetry.dependnecies] em pyproject.toml para incluir:

scikit-learn = {version = "^0.23.2", allow-prereleases = true}

que, a partir de agora, instala 0.24.0rc1 com suporte a python3.9 em vez de 0.23.x que reclama sobre o carregamento de módulo compartilhado devido a mudanças numpy ou algo assim.
