Vscode: Could not create new file

  • VSCode Version: 1.23.0
  • OS Version: mac os 10.13.4

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. open right menu
  2. click new file menu item
    nothing happened

    Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

right clicking a folder and selecting New File doesn't work, neither does the New File icon in the section header, although using the File>New menu works, as does Ctrl-N

Actually the New Folder right click and icon are not working either.

Not seeing any errors/warnings in the dev tools or debug console.
